During the summer period, numerous cases have been recorded of Ukrainian women being recruited for sexual exploitation in European countries.
The most vulnerable are those in difficult life circumstances: the unemployed, low-income individuals, internally displaced persons, women with children, and underage girls.
Criminals often disguise the danger under promises of “quick earnings” or a “better life.” Once trapped in human trafficking, victims may be forced into prostitution, hard unpaid labor, or drawn into criminal activities with the use of physical or sexual violence.
