Is this familiar to you?

On January 6, an interactive installation was presented at Veles Mall, which through real-life scenarios helps:

  • recognize signs of labor exploitation;
  • see dangerous situations that anyone can end up in;
  • understand where the line lies between “regular work” and exploitation.

Representatives of IOM Ukraine joined the event, along with Halyna Senyk, Deputy Director of the Department of Social Policy of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional State Administration, Yurii Vartsaba, Head of the Migration Police Department of the Ivano-Frankivsk Region Police, as well as Vitalii Verbovyi, a representative of the Office of the Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights in the Ivano-Frankivsk Region.

The installation will operate in Ivano-Frankivsk for a week, after which it will travel to other cities of Ukraine

In the context of a full-scale war and active internal and external migration, the risks of labor exploitation have increased significantly. That is why raising awareness today is critically important.

Assistance can also be obtained on the website www.stoptrafficking.org

Aware means protected

During the opening, special attention was given to the National Hotline for Combating Human Trafficking and Migrant Counseling — 527:
