In 2025 (according to the Office of the Prosecutor General) – law enforcement registered 144 criminal proceedings for these facts.
But behind every number – not statistics, but a human life.
Human trafficking is not only forced labor or sexual exploitation. It includes begging, organ trade, involvement in crime, online exploitation, even “adoption” for commercial purposes. Anyone can become a victim – regardless of age, gender, or status. That is why it is so important to speak up, notice the signs, seek help, and never stay silent.
